UGLY AND PETTY

Tears of joy always slip down my round cheek
it silently spills from my eyes and runs down my cheeks
see the tears forming again in my eyes
my eyes filling afresh with tears
tears of love
since you've told me you will ever be mine
have i told you once i love you?
how can i love you?
im so ugly and petty sometimes and
you're so good and pure
i cant help biting down a little cry
i love sitting across from you
i know i love the touch of your hand on mine
but my ugliness wont allow me free
the more i look at you
the more certain i am that i can have you
that you are just like someone, a stranger in the face of crowd
a passing glance who i can never touch
you should just stop
you cant kiss my tears away
