You let out a horrid cry
it sounded like a squawk
you ran weeping to me
then my words were lost
i remembered the night when you came into my room and
crawled in bed with me to whisper secrets

secrets like love and care
just as you have always be doing when we started this relationship
you told me about finding love that have lost
how can i do without forgiving you
one of the secrets you confided to me
when you climbed into my bed
